Adding the Facebook Pixel is a fundamental step every business owner must take if they want to do Facebook advertising like a Facebook marketing pro and to stop using the Boost Post button.

Follow our 8 easy steps to add the Facebook pixel to WordPress without a plugin to reduce unnecessary plugins on your website, thus improving your SEO.

Why Should I Install The Facebook Pixel & Conversion API?

Digital marketing is all about data tracking. The fact you’re generating sales or leads, is just a happy side effect.

What you’re really paying for is the data associated with those leads. Who is converting? What is their demographic data? Women? Men? How old are they?

The Facebook pixel, and more recently the Conversion API, are the tool that let you measure and track this data.

You know those retargeting social media ads that follow you everywhere? That’s only possible with the Facebook pixel and the Conversion API installed.

Before you start your social media ads, you must install the Facebook Pixel and Facebook Conversion API.

A Timely Update To Using Facebook & Conversion API on WordPress

Things have changed a lot since we first wrote this article. The information below is still relevant, however if you’re looking to simplify things for you, skip the steps below and get one of our favourite WordPress plugins, Pixel Your Site.
